Reason there isn't very many photos.+Artist statement for third time-based project

Unfortunately I do not have any other photos for the dyed flowers, With an update from my camera, I lost the majority of my pictures.

This includes a professional picture of both The crayon melt and the mums. 

However I will put in the artist statement for both.

For the dyeing of the mums-

This was an idea that I had for the science portion of class assignments. But unfortunately I did not have the time. For this project over I did. I utilized regular store-bought food dye, and had purchased a big bowl of the flowers. They needed to be white so that the dog could be easily seen. 

I then cut the stems off and place them in the colored water. With some i split the stem down the middle, so that the flower would suck up two different kinds of water color.

With this I wanted to get across how things change over time, particularly with the environment they were in, represented by the colored water. After a lot of spells and a cut finger, I was able to Create about 15 bouquets...
