Working on it!

The Tiger's crouching Body has been a great inspiration for me in this piece, for the dragon is crouching down and gives it a predatory look.

This book has been a wonderful source of resource for me and the characteristics of Dragons.

This is a video of a man who had befriended a giant crocodile. I've always like connections like this.

Art 21: Marina Abramovic

For this week's art 21 response, I've decided to focus on my favorite artist Marina Abramović.
In history, she is one of the first people to use performance art and translate it into visual form, utilizing her body, testing out her limits as she goes with each piece, in some cases risking her own life. And over her active years this has both fascinated and also repulsed a lot of viewers. A big representation piece in her work is the theme of life and death, and it's what she talks about in her video. I adore Marina, because in a lot of her artwork I see myself, as someone who is constantly looking for meaning and spiritual substance in the work, and often find peace within it.

Week 2: inspiration pieces

This is the piece that was done for me by a friend from where I used to work at the magic of Disney animation. It's a piece of inspiration to remind me of where I want to be.

This is a Clock. I enjoyed this clock very much. It has a story that can only be told through sight, and those are the narratives I greatly enjoy.

This is my sister. She is inspiration for me in a million ways than one. Also she's smart so that's a plus.
